On Saturday, April 21, 2018 beginning at the Red Lion Hotel on Hilltop Drive in Redding, One SAFE Place will host the 11th Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® event, the international men’s march to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence. This is a Call to Men to educate and engage our community about a very serious subject and to take action in preventing sexualized violence. Registration and activities start at 9 am with the walk beginning at 10 am.
Participants who raise more than $100 will receive a $5.00 coupon to spend at Brews and Shoes at CR Gibbs, the official after party featuring a Bloody Mary bar, food, live music by Lucero and the opportunity to win prizes. All registrants will be treated to snacks and beverages at the Red Lion Hotel.
Prizes will be awarded for the best shoes, the best dressed, best team name, the greatest amount of total donations (individual and team), and best team spirit.
