On September 23, 2016 staff from One SAFE Place joined The Shasta County District Attorney’s Crime Victims Assistance Center in honoring those who have lost their lives to homicide. Also in attendance were the families of victims and community partners dedicated to serving those victims. Participants were encouraged to write their loved one’s name on a stone to place in the “HOPES” garden. The garden is a place to honor and reflect on loved ones that was created by the District Attorney’s office.
